Jalal Ahmed Attief Company

Privacy policy

How Jalal Holding collects, uses and protects personal data under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Effective date: 8 July 2026.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

This website, www.jalalholding.com, is operated by Jalal Ali Ahmed Attief General Architectural Contracting Establishment (مؤسسة جلال علي احمد عطيف للمقاولات المعمارية العامة), trading as Jalal Holding (JAAC) — Commercial Registration No. 4030175634, Unified Establishment No. 7014411990, VAT Registration No. 300091817500003.

Registered national address: JABA7479 — Building 7479, Aynunah St., Secondary No. 5419, Al Baghdadiyah Ash Sharqiyah Dist., Jeddah 22235, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

For anything relating to personal data, contact us at info@jalalholding.com or +966 53 143 2194.

2. The law this notice follows

We process personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) issued by Royal Decree No. M/19 of 09/02/1443H (as amended) and its Implementing Regulations, under the supervision of the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

3. What personal data we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us:

  • Enquiry and quotation forms — name, company, work email, phone number, and the details of your requirement (service, equipment, site location, timeline, message).
  • Direct correspondence — anything you send us by email or telephone.
  • Technical logs — our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp) for security and reliability.

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers, pixels or external fonts. Browsing the site requires no account and no personal data. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local preference recording that you dismissed our privacy notice — it contains no identifier and is never transmitted to us.

4. How the forms actually work

Our contact and quotation forms do not store your data on this website or transmit it to a database. When you submit, the form composes an email in your own email application, addressed to info@jalalholding.com; nothing is sent until you send that email yourself. Your message then resides in our business mailbox like any other correspondence.

5. Why we process your data (purposes & legal basis)

  • Responding to your enquiry or RFQ — based on your consent (the consent box you tick before submitting) and the actual interest of both parties in corresponding, per Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL.
  • Performing or preparing a contract — where your enquiry leads to a commercial relationship.
  • Meeting legal obligations — records we must keep under Saudi commercial, tax (ZATCA) and audit rules.
  • Security — protecting the website and our systems (server logs).

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Direct marketing

We do not send marketing communications unless you have expressly opted in, and any such message will identify us and include a clear, free way to opt out, as required by the PDPL. Withdrawing consent is as easy as emailing info@jalalholding.com with the word “unsubscribe”.

7. Who we share data with

We never sell personal data. It is disclosed only to:

  • Service providers that process it on our instructions — our email and website hosting providers — bound by contractual confidentiality;
  • Public authorities where disclosure is required by Saudi law or a competent court or regulator;
  • Professional advisers (auditors, counsel) under confidentiality, where necessary.

8. Transfers outside Saudi Arabia

Personal data is processed in Saudi Arabia. Where a service provider (for example, an email or hosting platform) processes data outside the Kingdom, we do so only in accordance with Article 29 of the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations — ensuring an adequate level of protection and appropriate safeguards, and limiting the transfer to the minimum necessary.

9. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter only as long as Saudi commercial and tax law requires. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your rights under the PDPL

Subject to the PDPL and its Regulations, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how we process your data (this notice);
  • access the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
  • request correction, completion or updating of your data;
  • request destruction of data that is no longer needed;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@jalalholding.com with the subject “Data Subject Request”. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe set by the Implementing Regulations. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

11. How we protect your data

We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk: access to business correspondence is limited to authorised staff, our systems require authentication, this website is served over HTTPS, and we collect the minimum data necessary in the first place.

12. Children

This website is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

13. Changes to this notice

We will post any changes to this notice on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to how we process already-collected data will be communicated before they take effect.
